Size: To 9 ft. high and wide; usually smaller.

Flowers: Large yellow flowers, late winter, spring, summer; oval light green peppermint-scented leaves, smooth bark; bell-shaped gumnuts follow bloom.

Uses: Accent, slopes, beauty, cut flowers, smog resistant, wind resistant. Caution: Flammable.

Wildlife: Bees.

Soil: Well-drained

Pruning: Can be pruned to ground to rejuvenate.

Notes: From sand and gravelly soil in southwest section of Western Australia. Hardy to 25°F. Slope planting requires mulch to bottom of hole.
